"yellowbirddd is the project name for singer/songwriter, Liam McCormack. yellowbirddd began in Boston when Liam released his first album, Hard Feelings, in 2010. Since then, he has released a handful of records and spent years on the road playing everywhere from rock clubs to backyard campfires. After a 3 year stint in NYC, Liam threw his guitars and clothes into a rusted car and moved to Los Angeles.
It is in LA where he demoed and recorded his new album, CENTINELA (the name comes from a street name that caught his eye while crashing with a friend in west LA). Recorded in the bedrooms and closets of his own apartment, CENTINELA finds yellowbirddd continuing to explore and perfect his minimal, intimate, and meaningful soundscape. Always eager to work with friends, CENTINELA was recorded and produced by talented companion Peter Recine and will be released in late 2014 by longtime friend Brian Bond - via Bond's new label, flower/flour records, out of Buffalo, NY."
